NPL Group Community Fund Awards

Awarded in May 2016 through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund

This project created a sports barn and gymnasium providing training facilities when weather is inclement and replacing a delapidated temporary building housing the gymnasium. The facility is available to both players and the local community and membership has grown significantly as a result. There are now facilities for all age level teams and the ladies team and the facility has been well used by external individuals and groups including Dundee United youths.

The project was enabled through an award of £150,000 and £200,000 by Avondale Environmental Limited, part of the NPL Group through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund and the Landfill Communities Fund.
